Who are we?
Dr. Susan Albers, Psy.D.

Susan Albers, Psy.D., is a New York Times best selling author and a clinical psychologist at the Cleveland Clinic who specializes in eating issues, weight loss, body image concerns and mindfulness.

Dr. Albers is the author of six mindful eating books including: EatQ, 50 Ways to Soothe Yourself Without Food, Eating Mindfully, Eat, Drink, and Be Mindful and Mindful Eating 101. Julie Norman, BS, E-RYT, BIG
Julie’s passion lies in helping women heal themselves and heal the world.  Her personal eating disorder recovery empowered Julie to become an entrepreneur right out of college. Body Karma Healing was born out of her frustration with conventional treatment approaches falling short of providing women the essential soul skills to realize deep and lasting body peace. 

In 2002 yoga became a part of Julie’s life elevating her health and happiness to new heights.  After 6 years of personal practice she embarked on a deeper study into the full path of yoga completing her 200 hour training in 2009 and blending it into her professional work in eating disorders treatment.
